Documentation

Documentation Services

The freight documentation that quietly decides whether your cargo clears in hours or sits at the port for days — prepared correctly, every time.

Documentation is the unglamorous part of freight that quietly decides whether your cargo clears in hours or sits at the port for days. Our team prepares, checks and files the full set of import and export documentation for every shipment we move — and also handles documentation-only support for clients who manage their own freight.

The documents every shipment needs

A standard UAE import or export typically requires a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading (ocean) or air waybill (air), certificate of origin, and any product-specific import permits. The single most common cause of customs delay is a mismatch between these documents — a weight, value or description that disagrees across the invoice, packing list and transport document. Consistency matters as much as completeness.

Specialist documentation we handle

What we prepare and file

  • Bill of Lading (Master and House) and Sea Waybills
  • Air Waybills (Master and House) and IATA documentation
  • Commercial invoices and packing lists checked for HS, weight, value consistency
  • Certificates of Origin — Chamber of Commerce attested, GCC, ATA Carnet
  • Dangerous Goods (DG) declarations — IMDG (sea) and IATA (air)
  • Regulatory permits — food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, telecoms, defence
  • Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and bank-compliant document sets
  • Embassy attestation and legalisation for destination-country requirements

Why documentation deserves its own service

Once cargo arrives at the destination port, the clock starts on storage and demurrage charges. A document mistake discovered at this stage gets expensive quickly. The shipments that clear fastest are the ones where the documentation was prepared before the vessel sailed — checked, cross-referenced and consistent. That is the discipline we bring to every shipment.

Compliant with LC and bank requirements

For shipments paid against Letter of Credit, the document set has to comply with the LC's exact terms or the bank refuses to release payment. Even small discrepancies — a date, a marking, a spelling — can hold a payment up indefinitely. Our team handles LC-compliant document preparation, including the rigorous checking that catches discrepancies before the documents leave for the bank.

Standalone or bundled with freight

Documentation is included as standard in every freight booking we handle. We also offer it as a standalone service — useful for businesses that book their own freight but need experienced documentation support, or for one-off complex shipments (project cargo, regulated goods, LC transactions) where the paperwork itself is the hard part.
